RAIN BARRErain barrelLS

One inch of rain on 1000 square feet of roof yields more than 600 gallons of water. Gutters often divert this water into storm sewers and away from a home. While this can be good for a home’s foundation, it increases runoff issues, and is a waste of a precious resource. Whenever practical, we will try to integrate into our designs barrels to capture rainwater for future use. This will save our clients money, keep chlorinated water from the plants, and will serve as a cool and lasting element in a landscape.
